I knew it wasn't real leather - it's clearly PU or some form of vinyl. BUT, I see many reviews here that THINK it is real - tsk, tsk; you should know & read better. I will agree that it DOES look like real leather, however. Anyway, aside from one design flaw, it's an xln't bag. My complaint is that in order to zip the bag closed at the top, you have to use both hands and pull out the "tail" of the top zipper in order to get leverage to zip it closed. That tail is rather ugly, and afterwards I have to tuck that tail back into the opening at the end so it doesn't show. Don't know why they didn't design it so you didn't have to pull out that tail. It's an added and unnecessary step that cannot be avoided. Other than that, I really like the purse. I don't use it to carry a gun; I just like the look, color and size as to why I bought it. I've only used it for 2.5 weeks so no long-term trial period yet but I will update if there are other complaints. I've already rec'd two compliments and I'm not surprised. The yellow/mustard color is accurately indicated on my laptop screen. I'm very happy with it and if it didn't have the zipper issue, I'd have given 5 stars, which is a rarity for me.
